What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Two Tails Ranch for its educational value and the passion of its owner and staff. The focus on conservation and the deep knowledge shared are highlights. However, some visitors expect a more hands-on, immersive experience than the standard tour provides, and accessibility can be a concern.
"We really enjoyed Two Tails Ranch. It wasn't what we expected, but it was still worth visiting. We thought it would be a more immersive experience, more of a "tour," but I don't really think that's a great term for it, even though that's how they describe it. It's much more educational than visual. The owner, who is quite knowledgeable, takes you to 5 or 6 spots and answers questions at each place. There were a lot of varied questions, and she was able to answer all of them without hesitation. Her story is quite intriguing! Ask her about her family history with exotic animals!
I recommend drinking water before you begin, as they don't want you bringing drinks or food.
This is family friendly, but younger kids might get restless."

"What a wonderful experience. Patricia has a big job on her hands and you can tell that this is her life’s work. She educated the group, answered all the questions, and led the tour like a pro. I will be going back to do the extreme encounter with the elephants. This option needs to be booked in advance and unfortunately time didn’t permit for the experience. That being said, anytime spent with these wonderful creatures is a treat, and the educational value alone is worth the visit. There’s an option to feed the elephants and get a photo op, as well as the understanding that all donations are appreciated."

"THIS PLACE!! Do NOT miss It!!! Outstanding work being done here! We Loved it, actually tried to fit a repeat visit into our trip. Do the Extreme Encounter if you have the $$ and the time. We did the initial tour and, OH, how we wished we had reserved the Extreme. (Reason for wanting to go back). Get it if time and money allows. The owners, the staff, THESE BEAUTIFUL animals are AMAZING!!"
