"Beautiful location, friendly professional staff, entire facility is very clean, tastefully decorated and quaint. The bed was fairly comfortable, our view from rm 317 was beautiful and there were many thoughtful details like an in room hairdryer, wine glasses and regular glasses in the room, a fridge and everything was very clean. Breakfast was included and exceeded our expectations with local coffee, fresh pastries (blueberry scone with the delicious grass fed butter was yummy), yogurt fruit granola parfait, hard boiled eggs, fresh juice, bagels/toast with fixings, delicious fruit salad and other assorted hot drinks.
The only criticism is the hallways and stairwells smell very unpleasant. Maybe it’s mold, or old stale cigarettes (no smoking now) but it was really unpleasant. Faint musty smell in room as well.
It’s a very old fashioned type place but not dated. Close to town, right on the water, terrific spot for a stay overnight to break up our drive to cape cod. We will be back.

"Great place to stay when in Westport if golfing or access to the water (sailing or kayaking) is your priority. Though the rooms could use a refresh, I found the bed very comfortable and bathroom had all the modern conveniences.
The staff were very friendly and the highlight must be La Plage - their restaurant with remarkable views of the water. That and the wildlife in their gardens."

The location was the perfect place to settle in and enjoy some quiet time before starting our roadtrip. The staff was super helpful and the location and rooms were absolutely adorable. The hotel is surrounded by a golf course and offers spectacular views over the water. Westport offers some food options, even for vegans/vegetarians. We absolutely loved our stay here."
