"4.5 stars. This is a 1.8-acre park with a beach. The water is part of the Long Island Sound. There were a couple of benches and a sidewalk. Beautiful homes can be seen along the beach and the street adjacent to the park. There are no restrooms/area for changing. There were very little on-street parking. It's open from May 1 to September 30, 5am to 10pm. There are no lifeguards on duty and no kayaking/canoeing. People have the option to purchase a parking emblem.
We went on a Saturday and there were a few people there but it wasn't super packed. The tide was low and the water was warm. We enjoyed walking out to the sand dunes; we saw quite a few hermit crabs, clams, and oysters. The water seemed clean and it was a beautiful small beach. At first, walking to the sand dune, it's very sharp and full of shells, make sure you have your water shoes on. Once we got to the sand dune, it was soft and smooth sand. I had to deduct half a star because it is small, no restrooms, and parking is very limited. The residents that live nearby definitely has a gem of a beach with almost a private feel."
