"This is a very unexpected place for being located next to a shopping center. Pleasantly surprised at the size of it. My bestie and I did the original trail to the red rocks. All was easy until the very end. I’m in my mid 40s so the very end was a bit moderate. On the way back out we went up the hill to the Mustard trail. It said hard. It was moderate to hard. The incline is way steeper than other parts of the lower trails but it has a great view on the way up. The sign says it’s .3 miles. That has to be a lie cause it felt like a more than that. We stopped a little after the top marker for the mustard trail (up the hill). In all we did a little under 4 miles total. Parking is $3 and it takes card or dollar bills. I’m sure you can park in the shopping center but why not just pay the $3 for a great hike? I’m definitely going to go back this year and check out the other trails."

"Beautiful hiking trail tucked next to residential and shopping centers. The trail goes quite a bit back. You can make the hike as short or long as you’d like, different options for trails. We went back to the red rock trail which wasn’t too difficult. Lots of birds if you are into birdwatching. Woodpeckers, blue jays, hawks and hummingbirds are some that we saw. The first mile in is mostly shaded under trees so that is a plus."
