Wgat are the best Portland Area Parks for a 75-150 person company picnic?

I'm collecting data for summer 2026. We are having a picnic for my work this year at Oxbow Regional Park and it's kind of far out. It's tomorrow so I'll see how it goes but I asked my director if I could help next year and wondered if we could have it more transit friendly.…

Reviews Summary

Cook Park is a beloved community gem in Tigard, praised for its fantastic playground and easy Tualatin River access for kayaking and paddleboarding. Visitors enjoy the paved trails for biking and the serene butterfly garden. Some note that the park isn't as large as expected for extensive hiking, and caution is advised regarding fast-moving e-bikes on shared paths.

"Love this place it's really nice but it's not as big as you would think as in trails but thats OK we still love it here just be careful of those attacking squirrels they do exist."

Brian

"Great city park with something for everyone. Love seeing then kayakers and standup paddle boarderslaunch their crafts into the tualaitn River. Also love the easily accessible butterfly garden off the main paved path. There are some non paved path connecting some areas. I bring my bike to ride the paved trails to Tualatin and Browns Ferry park. It is great starting point. Only concern is that also E bikes and e-Scooters live the connection and treat it like a highway. And it is pedestrian heavy in the park portion, and blind curves. Should be signs for e riders to reduce speed on that section heading toward railway bridge."

R Bran

"Put in for kayaks/paddleboards was easy to find and plentiful parking, but was very busy on a weekday afternoon. I imagine this place gets super busy on weekends."
