"Excellent campground!
Clean bathrooms, not too fancy but everything you need.
Great sites, nice design for the fire pits.
There’s a fully ADA accessible site which we didn’t need but is a great option.
Canoeing was superb, and ample access to trails.
Very friendly staff, helpful. When we brought a loose post to their attention it was fixed within a day."

"I found this campground last minute, it honestly was great! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our campsite was very clean! The showers are nice, very hot water! The bathrooms were clean. All the other campers were respectful. Nice quiet campground. My only question was if we could hike the trails surrounding the pond with a dog since the sign said no dogs in day use area? I didn’t know if that was just the beach area or all the trails around the lake? I would love if someone answered this for me. Overall, great trip! We are looking to come back in the fall!"

"Very nice facility. Well maintained, staff available and helpful. I especially like that the sites are a decent distance from each other and it is well shaded throughout. The lack of cell service is a plus for me. Good location for many hiking trails throughout Pharoah Lake Wilderness Area. Mosquitoes are a problem but that's true throughout the ADK."
