"This is a wonderful place. There’s a very nice indoor nature center, kayaks to rent, a pontoon boat for river tours, nice campgrounds and cabins to rent. Very well maintained. Boat launches to put your boat in. Park rangers keep things safe. You simply can’t ask for a better family place."

"Nice quiet place. Diverse fishing. Just be prepared for lots of grass and algae."

Randall Hanover

"Did canoe camping from the wisconsin river to the boat launch. It is doable in a paddle propelled boat, but if you have the choice, morning is best followed by evening. Between noon and 4 I would definitely suggest life jackets simply for the waves from the boat traffic.

Camping wise there is not a lot of options between the wisconsin and the boat launches, but there are a few, as long as youre not looking for the huge space of the sandbars"
