"⛪️ A Truly Beautiful Church & Grounds ⛪️
If you only have time to visit one church on St. Simon’s, make it this one (also probably its most famous). The grounds are lush and green with large, ancient oaks providing shade. The intermingled light and shadow gives the church and its surrounding cemetery a truly sacred atmosphere. There are many famous historical persons (the Goulds, etc.) buried here, and the church interior is lovely with beautiful stained glass scenes and a rich local history."
Casey
"I've walked the grounds several times but this was my first visit inside and a wonderful historian by the name of Deb took the time to walk me through the history of the church and the man who had the calling to rebuild it. As beautiful as the grounds are outside, the interior is truly a sight to behold."
