What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
St. George's Church Flushing is a beautiful, historic landmark with a vibrant trilingual service offering. While its interior is praised for its historical ambiance, some visitors note concerns about the upkeep of the exterior grounds. It's a significant symbol of Flushing's diverse community and progressive values.
"It’s very sad to see how such a beautiful, historic landmarked church has fallen into such neglect, specifically the outside area. They need to clean up, the garbage and the terrible smell of urine from homeless living on church steps previously. Also historic gravestones look different, not sure if some were actually removed from the garden area. It is the duty of the church to maintain and upkeep this landmark building. A shame and disgrace how they treat it. This is part of the community. Previous church kept building immaculate and had respect for it."

"Beautiful church with rich history! Interiors are from the past era and you can feel the history in the interior itself! Church sermon was decent too, although her accent was a little too strong for me to clearly understand,"
