What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find Queens Botanical Garden to be a pleasant and peaceful escape, particularly enjoyable for its themed gardens and seasonal events. While some note it's not as grand as larger botanical gardens, it's considered a worthwhile visit, especially for those in the Flushing area or seeking a tranquil spot for a picnic. The staff's helpfulness for special events is frequently highlighted.
"What an amazing event space from start to finish! Beautiful location with amazing staff that make everything so seamless especially for a 7 month pregnant mother ! Na Na the coordinator/ supervisor was very helpful with working with me and fine tuning all the details before the event and making sure the event goes smoothly the day of including making sure my custom made stickers were placed on the diffusers that they had ordered for the activity included in the event. She also made sure there were goodie bags for all my guests that included their activity kit and my custom made pens placed on every seat as I requested. She was very accommodating of my food allergy and diet and allowed substitutions to the halal menu that was offered in the package. The assigned staff hosts for the day were Fahima and Jasmine and they helped me so much and made sure I didn’t need anything. They also instructed my guests on how to make their own oil diffuser. All my guests were in awe with the space and what was provided. I look forward to having more events here and hopefully attending another event here! I’m forever grateful to Nana, Fahima and Jasmine and any other staff involved for making my day special! God bless them!"

"A beautiful place to be in nature. My friend and I visited this park on a late fall day. It is small enough for you to go around in an hour and you only pay $6 for entry. You can buy tea or coffee for a dollar at the reception. As you take your walk I hope that you get to disconnect from the (virtual) world and just look at the trees and the birds and how they are well taken care of so you can remember that you are also being taken care of. 🥰"

"Decent but not fantastic garden. Nice walk. I think 30 to 60 minutes is a good time unless you plan to roll out the picnic. Worth going if you’re in the area? Yeah. Worth a special trip? I don’t think so."
