"I was a non-traditional student returning to college for a second undergraduate degree. Admissions did well at transferring some credits from my first undergraduate degree to my second. I hold an Elementary K-6 Certification. Additionally, I received a K-6 Special Education in the areas of multicategory/LD/BD and a Reading Literacy diploma. I found all the teachers genuinely eager to teach us various teaching styles and the latest programs to prepare us not only to teach in the metro area but also in surrounding states. Sioux City, IA, is a border city with South Sioux City, NE, and North Sioux City, SD. The only drawback was that there were few campus activities for non-traditional students. All students in my class lived off campus in their own homes. We also didn't get a campus tour to learn where all the resources were located."

"My daughter is getting a good education and loves going to Morningside however; the issue we have is the moving in/out days the last couple of years that are not on a weekends and not conducive to allowing appropriate times and dates for anyone / parents helping moving their sons / daughters in. Move in times and dates only during the week is ridiculous and my daughter was told per staff and the moving in calendar that she could only move in on a Tuesday the day before classes are supposed to start."
