Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of the Chumash Trail, highlighting its unique sandstone formations and panoramic views. It's praised as a great spot for cardio and a dog-friendly adventure. Some note the lack of shade and the need for ample water, and caution is advised around rocky areas for younger children.

"Absolutely, amazing trails for both me and my Redcat Ascent Fusion, if you're in Simi Valley and have some off-road RCs this is a fantastic spot."

Jeffrey Nguyen (VietRolla)

"I'd like to note right away this review is solely for the rocky area in my photo, as I was only exploring there; not the trail. There is plenty of parallel parking for this area (this was a Saturday of good weather) yet no restroom facilities at this location.. That said from experience and the view I would recommend at least 1-2 liters of water as it is very exposed/little cover from trees etc. Also it seems to be fairly windy half the time so remember to keep that in mind when deciding on what to wear based on temperature. Seems like a normally (if the wind isn't howling!) very family friendly place, however be careful with little ones climbing the rock formations as it is fun and not too dangerous; yet there are hidden drops and holes.
My first impressions were just wow. The beauty of southern California: the constant rise and fall of small mountains dotted with vast rocky outcroppings due to our states high tectonic activity; in a desert landscape of reds, oranges and browns. With a big highway, of course. This is California! Cheers and enjoy yourself while being safe!"

"This is a great park.  It is big and has lots of room for everything you can think of.  They do concerts in the park during the summer and there are lots of kids sports games here as well.  The park is always clean and well kept.  There is a real fun play-set for kids and a little walking area in the back.  There is also a fun rock/mountain to climb with a great view."
