What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Lake Seminole Park for its cleanliness, natural beauty, and abundant wildlife, particularly alligators. It's described as a peaceful 'hidden gem' offering well-maintained, shaded trails perfect for walking, running, and enjoying nature. Some long-time residents cherish it as a nostalgic childhood spot.
"A very clean and inviting park. I did not find a single piece of trash alongside the asphalted 2-mile loop trail. Most of the trail leads through a natural or informal park where you walk in the shade of native trees. Naturalists that are easily identified by the long tele lenses that they carry or by their habit of crouching over a plant with a magnifier, are wandering the dirt tracks away from the main trail, while kids enjoy rolling down a grassy hill. Serene, relaxed, full of native flora and fauna (the invasive plants are mostly kept in check).
The few bicyclists that I encountered were polite and all dogs were on leashes and either friendly or well trained."

"As a walker this park impressed me. Clear distance markers on the trail. Lots of beautiful places to rest if needed. Lots of shade. Very clean. Readily available facilities. This is my favorite park that I’ve found so far in the area! So big, so clean, so much parking. 10/10 would recommend!"

"Very clean and spacious Park. Bathrooms on site which were very clean as well. No trash or litter around and was an amazing experience. Sat on one of the swinging benches by the pond and dozed off immediately. Great little hidden gem in the middle of pinellas"
