What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Tlaquepaque's enchanting Spanish-colonial architecture, tranquil courtyards, and vibrant art scene, calling it a 'must-visit' for its unique charm and romantic ambiance. While some wish for more grab-and-go food options, the overall experience is highly praised for its beauty and diverse offerings.
"This is the go-to place to shop or just browse. There is something for everyone. The earlier you go the better as it gets busy really quick in the afternoon. We saw paintings, spices, spirits (small batch), sculptures, clothes, hats, jewelry, books, and wind vanes and we were there for about three hours and only got to see the left side. Across the road on the right side you could spend another three hours easily if you so choose. It is very nice and tranquil. Check out the videos as they will do more justice, than my talking. Great times!!!"

"Dude this place is awesome, if your a video gamer and love the experience of exploring those cool artsy districts this is totally the place to visit
I love how the architecture here is "intimate" and different, it was raining outside when I visited too which totally added this wonderful relaxing moody vibe
There's definitely plenty of places to visit here as well, a few places to eat also. Id say if your looking for a romantic spot to hang out then this is a great place. It is very walkable which is always a plus for sure!
I visited the spirits place and ended up spending a good amount of cash but, the drinks are very unique and the staff is very awesome!"

"Overall super delightful village esque shopping center with great art, ambience, and luscious courtyards. Overall I could use more of a grab and go for a quick drink or snack versus a sit down restaurant experience which here will cost you. I did try the cake place and coffee place which had some options but for something light grab and go or even some water would have been great."
