What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Seaside Farmers Markets are generally well-loved for their friendly atmosphere, diverse vendors offering local produce, artisanal foods, and handmade crafts, often enhanced by live music. However, some visitors have noted that certain markets can be smaller than expected or have limited produce options, and seasonal closing times can sometimes be earlier than anticipated.
"They closed in mid September? Never heard of a farmers market close down so early especially in a place with such a long growing season. There’s places that have snow on the ground and still keep the market going. So lame.."
Jeff Metzer
"About 20 vendors. A good selection of food items, crafts, and music. The Master Garderners have a table.
We purchased Mediterranean food that was delicious. The gentleman gave us a few samples to taste. We bought pita bread, a variety of hummus, tabuli, and grape leaves. He also had Tzatziki."

"Wednesday Seaside Farmers Market:
Small but it makes for less competition and everybody is friendly. The smoked salmon chowder is amazing, but it's hot from the pot so be careful.
The flower bouquets are stunning, and the prices all around are reasonable.
There is also a CBD stand with amazing pain and skin cream!
If you are looking to get away from the crowds in Astoria on a Sunday, then come here.
Oh live music as well."
