"I stopped by (8-23-24) while some pretty cool construction was going on. Cool construction?
Apparently this state park will have some large electric generators installed, to collect the energy from special ocean wave buoys.
I hope this park has more information about this experiment and uses it for a teaching tool.
- Just note. While the construction is going on, the rather large construction equipment took up most of the parking lot.
+ This park has pretty easy beach access, down a trail. But, not much driftwood on the beach!"

"My favorite beach! Such a gem to walk. Little spots to find agates. Walk towards Seal Rock during low tides and nice tide pools. At lowest tide you can walk from Driftwood to Seal rock, such as cool experience! Rarely crowded, good parking and they provide dog poop bags, public restrooms and trash cans."

"This is very nice Beach. And a very nice place to stop along the way to wherever you may be going. My husband and I stopped for lunch and to take a break from driving. The Beaches were very nice and easy to get to. There's ample parking at the beach part and also there are public restrooms with picnic tables. Plenty of parking in both areas. There are two separate picnic tables one in the sun and one in another area in the shade, it's by a beautiful wooded area. The bathrooms could be cleaner but other than that it was a lovely stop. We had a picnic and relaxed a bit."
