"This park is one of my favorites spots in Sarasota. Dog friendly, perfect for biking and running, the loop has approximately 3 miles. The sunset views are spectacular and they are always offering activities in the location. Popular for the 4 of July fireworks and the turkey tort is a must try ."

"Great running/walking park if you live/work in the area and need a getaway by water. Piped in music for a short time on the northwest section that keeps you motivated if you don’t have earbuds. Lots of parking all around and grateful for the crushed shell sections for running that give a break from running on asphalt or concrete…that invention never really designed for the human skeleton. ;) Many races here."

"Wonderful spot for a bike ride, a run, or an aquatic adventure. As long as there's not some major sporting event happening there, it's a super great place to go exercise. Playground for kids 2 to 10 is decent and the loop around the lake has nice wide trails to ride bikes on. Several restrooms and parking lots make it super convenient as well."
