Roswell Riverwalk
Hello, new to the metro area and live in Buford. Planning to bring my dog for a walk on the riverwalk. Any tips for best place to park or start? I prefer to start at the end or beginning of the trail as opposed to a mid-point. Appreciate any input or advice.

Want to float on the Chattahoochee later in July, but am unclear on where to start and stop. Help?

Question - where can I go kayaking around Atlanta?
I'd like to go kayaking but need some tips on where to go. I'm in central Atlanta, and would prefer the location to be within the first ring of suburbs or counties at most. A few other constraints: - I don't have a kayak, so I would need to rent one. - I don't have a car, so…

Trails can be shaded initially, but wear sunscreen for the latter parts of your walk.

If you don't have a kayak, you can rent one here for a fun day on the water.
Kayaking
Does anyone know where I can kayak ITP/OTP but reasonably near the city or close to midtown/west midtown. I have done Chattahoochee a few times but getting back with just one car is such a hassle. Any and all suggestions welcome.

"I came here to go on a walk with friends on Tuesday, 6/6/23. We parked at the playground and took the trail from there. There were plenty of people walking, but there was space for everyone. It was beautiful! Stroller-friendly! The path was pretty shaded in the beginning, but you definitely need sunscreen for the latter part! We fed our babies under the covered pavilion. Plenty of picnic tables and trash cans. I can't wait to go back!"
