What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Rockport Memorial Park is widely praised as a well-maintained community gem offering diverse activities for all. Visitors love the spacious, shaded dog park, the peaceful walking trails, and the unique wildlife viewing opportunities, especially the turtles. Some concerns have been raised about dogs being off-leash outside the designated park area.
"This review is on the disc golf course. It had 9 holes, concrete Tee pads, and posts with fairway numbers. There is a nice sign by the parking lot with a map - take a picture for reference. The fairways are mostly short to medium length. The course is very woody and shady, requiring low shots on almost every fairway. Fairways are also narrow in almost all cases. Sometimes hard to see the basket or next tee pad. Baskets are in good shape with numbers marked on them. Course is flat and sandy."

"This is one of my absolute favorite places in South Texas! The park is immaculately maintained by the city of Rockport. The dog park has to be over in acre large. There's a area for small dog separate from large dogs with water stations picnic tables benches obstacles….. it is heavily shaded and amazing and amazing exclamation
But I also particularly love the walking trails, both paved and natural. So many parks pave over all of the trails and it's just nice sometimes on your joints to be able to walk on the munch.
This park is a gem for the people of Rockport and those who visit."
