What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Liberty Park is appreciated for its diverse recreational facilities, including dedicated pickleball courts and a skate park, alongside scenic riverfront paths and a playground. While many praise the park's green spaces and maintenance crew, some visitors have reported feeling uncomfortable due to staff behavior or the presence of certain groups.
"I came to this park during open hours and the maintenance worker was intently watching me and making purposeful eye contact from a distance. I moved my vehicle 3 times to avoid this and he walked in front of my car staring then the second time he parked behind me.
The implication of his behavior was that I shouldn’t be here or that I am doing something I shouldn’t. I stay at the park for probably 30 mins in the mornings before I start working.
I felt profiled, supervised and provoked. I did not appreciate any of his confrontational behavior. His actions were purposeful and overbearing.
The truck he was driving has the license plate 52572D. He appeared to be a white male, height about 5’10- 6’1 240 pounds, wore glasses, brown hair.
It is 11/21/25 at 8am."

"THAT'S RIGHT 5 STAR !! The PARKS CREW IS THE AMAZING!! Every day they clean up after grown folks ( at least of age) that are simply too lazy and don't really care enough to even clean up after themselves.
GREAT JOB RENTON LIBERTY PARK'S MAINTENANCE CREW."
