"What an incredible library!
Not only is it beautiful inside and out, but the staff here are unlike any others — truly compassionate, patient, and welcoming to everyone who walks through the doors. This place is special. You can come for a book, a movie, or a quiet study room, but you might also find a warm cup of coffee, a pair of socks, or a kind word on a cold day.
Who would’ve thought that this peaceful spot by the river would bring together such a wide range of people — families, students, workers, and those just trying to get through tough times — all using the same space, learning, growing, and connecting. That’s what makes this library so special: it’s for everyone"

The Renton Library is more than just a beautiful building by the river — it’s a place where everyone is welcome. The staff here go above and beyond, treating every person with dignity, respect, and kindness, no matter their background or situation.
Sure, you’ll meet all kinds of people here — families, students, seniors, people working hard to get back on their feet — and that’s what makes this library so special. It reflects the real community we live in. Whether you come for a good book, a quiet study room, or just a warm cup of coffee and a friendly face on a cold day, this place reminds us that libraries are about people as much as they are about books.
The Renton Library isn’t just a building for books — it’s a reminder that everyone deserves a safe, welcoming space to belong."

"Beautiful and spacious library with friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. I love how it’s located right above the river — such a great spot with a playground and scenic river views nearby. Love the Salmon tour in Autumn as well. The only downside is the homeless activity around the outside area, which can be a bit concerning at times. Hopefully this can be improved, because the library itself is truly wonderful."
