"What can I say about Terranea Resort that hasn’t already been said? The location is stunning, the setting is gorgeous, and the food is consistently delicious. We stayed for two days in December and lucked out with perfect weather, which made the experience even better.
We spent our second day exploring and quickly realized just how enormous the property is. We stayed in the bungalows near the spa, which we absolutely loved—definitely preferred them over staying in the main building. There are three different pools, and the fitness center is fantastic with a full lineup of classes. I took an amazing spin class along with an outdoor bluff walk, both of which were highlights. Although we didn’t book any spa services, we saw plenty of people enjoying them, and the atmosphere around the spa was serene.
We spent part of the afternoon at the family pool with the slide—lots of kids and families having a great time, which added to the lively vibe. With so much to do, we didn’t even come close to seeing everything in just two days.
A special shout-out to the staff at the pools and to Chris Boag, the manager at Nelson’s. Their warmth and attentiveness are truly what make the experience feel special.
Overall, Terranea delivered exactly what we hoped for: relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and excellent service. We can’t wait to return!"

"A truly premium experience. ALL personnel are well trained and a delight to interact with. Our room was like new in appearance. The on-site restaurants are fairly priced for the quality of food and service. I did not go to Marcel, but went to the others. Outside fire pits are awesome and plentiful. Live music in the evening at the lobby bar was great. A highlight was meeting their onsite falconer at 11am. We so enjoyed our first stay here and look forward to returning soon. 5-stars across the board."

"It’s an amazing hotel with a variety of amazing restaurants and things to do. The waterslide was incredibly speedy and contained three pools. One for all ages, One for 13 years and older, And one for 21 and older. The lobby was nice with a view of the ocean and a cozy fireplace and bar. It had beach access and a fun walking trail. The one downside is that our room was about a fourth a mile walk away from the elevator bank. Would definitely come here for a 3 to 4 day escape"
