"Great park to visit. Very tranquil and quiet place. The bird island was pretty small but it had plenty of wildlife around the pond and quite a few anhinga on the island. We also saw a green haron as well as an osprey in the distance. I was actually most interested in the turtles. They followed us around and clearly had been fed by others (even though you are not suppose to). We will likely be back to have a picnic sometimes on the water because there was a picnic table over the water that was shaded.
There was also a small play ground and walking the little shrub maze was pretty fun to do with my very young son.
The only issue we had was that there were no bathrooms around. I might have missed them but that would be my only complaint."
