"Wow. The hot springs has been really updated! The rooms are average and dated but the actual main attraction the hot springs is top notch! 9 hot spring tubs all with beautiful stone are spread out and range in temps. 2 full size pools also. And a very very cold plunge pool is awesome! They also have a vapor cave with sauna room and steam room. Perfect and again beautifully done. Beautiful flowers everywhere. Even the entrance door to the springs area is beautiful. 2 of the hot tubs are covered overhead . All of them have amazing Mountain Views of Ouray which are truly amazing.
Breakfast is like a decent hotel buffet. Get a rate with breakfast of your choice can online to save. They include use of robes and towels for the springs just be sure to leave them in room."

"Overall, really happy with our stay. We arrived at 9 pm, and the parking lot for our hotel was completely full. There was a trailer that took up at least 10 parking spots, in addition to the many dirtbikes that were using one space each. 🙄 I feel like there should be a designated area for trailers to park, so they aren’t using most of the parking spaces that are designated for guests. I realize this isn’t really the hotels fault, but it was frustrating. We had to park away from
The parking lot and therefore had to unload everything, including our mountain bikes.
Besides that, the room was cozy. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was great. The TV was on a low table, so not super visible from bed, but that was ok. The rooms are pretty outdated. Had trouble with the toilet flushing.
If you want to rent a robe, it’s $5 per robe.
The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we’ve ever had! The lady that was running that area was incredibly helpful and nice. She deserves a raise!
We asked for a late checkout, which was an extra $25 for just an extra hour. I’ve never experienced that at a hotel before. We wanted more time to relax since we arrived so late and spent extra time finding somewhere to park our truck.
Overall, we had an amazing stay. The hot spring pools were clean and very nice temperatures. The location was absolutely beautiful. We will absolutely book a room here again!"

"I have no idea how this place has such a high rating. Check-in is thru a kiosk and staff did not greet us or direct us towards our room. The room was musty, damp and smelled like pet urine. Broken floor tiles are sharp enough to cut your feet. The sheets were wet. Not damp, wet. We had to hang them up throughout the room to dry them off. We asked for dry sheets which were never brought to us. My spouse and I had booked a massage through the front desk and staff never put her on the schedule so she did not get a massage. The room was directly underneath a loud stairwell so sleep was not restful. Poor customer service all around. For almost $300/night, I will be taking my business somewhere that values it. The ONLY saving grace from this experience was Shannon, my massage therapist, was excellent. Do your research before booking this place. It is not worth the money."
