"Always a beautiful spot when I visit ocean shores. This time someone made an awesome sand castle using crabs and logs. It's amazing what some people can do! I collected some pretty rocks along the beach to add to my mancala board. Just be careful walking on the sand. There's always some sort of small piece of trash/garbage but it can't be avoided. Pick up the trash as you go ♥"

"Whether it's a calm, sunny summer day or a stormy, blustery winter day, this is the place to watch and enjoy the ever-changing ocean. The jetty itself is protection from the waves. There is a nice beach area, and tide pools to explore when the weather permits. In fall and winter, the beach and rocks are often inaccessible due to high tides and violent and unpredictable waves. There is an area of high dunes with pathways from the jetty parking area that give an unparalleled view of the sea, jetty and Westport across the channel. Often there are big ships docked by Westport. Nice storm-watching area, but be careful!"
