Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Natural Bridge State Park for its unique geological formations, including North America's only natural white marble arch and an impressive abandoned quarry. The historical information and short trails are also appreciated. However, some find the park's accessibility limited and note that fences can obstruct views. The visitor center staff received mixed reviews. Reddit

"Wonderful short walk with a beautiful & unique marble crevasse, marble rocks, abandoned quarry with dramatic clifflike face, white marble dam, and historical information. Cannot see the natural bridge. NOT DISABILITY ACCESSIBLE. Very small visitor center with loudly gossiping and inattentive staff. Bathrooms and an excellent diorama of the quarry in action circa 1940s are available in the visitor center."

Jesse H.

"I had planned to visit the Elk Memorial at sunrise and continue east, so the 9 AM opening time here wasn’t ideal. Still, I’m glad I came back later, because this turned out to be one of my favorite stops on the Mohawk Trail. You’ll find the only white marble dam in North America, the only natural white marble arch, sweeping views of the old marble quarry, and fascinating insights into how water shaped the land. Highly recommend a visit!"

"The former Marble quarry was a pleasant surprise. Knowing that we were standing on a 550 million year old bedrock witnessing nature's beautiful artwork carved by over 13,000 years of erosion was humbling. Beautiful."
