"We really enjoy the Piazza d’Italia and love to sit on its shady benches listening to the water features. This is a little realized area and almost never crowded. Originally built to commemorate the contribution of Italian immigrants to New Orleans it was also featured in the 1984 Worlds Fair. This is a nice spot to sit and relax or admire the architecture."
