"Great park. Small in space but big on personality. Two water fountains ⛲that kinda cools the breeze. Great place to bring your dogs 🐕 or have a picnic or a kegger. There is something for everyone at coliseum park."

"The Coliseum Square Park was the centerpiece of a New Faubourg built over Madame Delord-Sarpy’s plantation. The three acre park was designed in 1806 by a French Architect. It has been remodeled over the years and is still a lovely spot. The park is shady with a lot of seating. Large open areas allow children to have fun playing but there is no playground equipment as such."

"Took my dog here in the middle of a hot afternoon and it was lovely.
People were letting their dogs cool off in the huge, shallow fountain and it was surrounded by benches to hang out in the sun and about a block or two of green space underneath huge, amazing old oak trees. People were scattered around on blankets or not, just reading or chilling out. Very cool.
One guy was even in a hammock (not sure if anyone was going to yell at him for using the old trees but it seemed ok)"
