Reviews Summary
Cypress Bend Park is praised for its beautiful, clear river waters and natural setting, making it a great spot for swimming, fishing, and relaxing. Visitors appreciate the family-friendly amenities like the playground and picnic areas, as well as its dog-friendly nature. However, parking can be limited and expensive, and the park gets extremely crowded during peak summer weekends.
"I liked it, but certain times of the year, it seems to cost $20 and I don't know if I'd pay $20. That said, you can wade into the river and lots of people had their dog which I thought was cool. It was a fun place to hangout but not really to walk around."

"Go in the mornings. Hopefully you have a parking pass 😬
I am able to walk over from my house in about 10 minutes... the perks of being a local. But this is a wonderful place to be when there's not many people around. The sun casts shadows through the tall cypress flanking the riverbank, and it feels like you're in another country. The grassy expanse in the center of the park is a favorite for dogs and families throwing a ball or a Frisbee. There really are such a variety of spaces here in this little park: river, playground, pavilion, walking trail (my favorite), picnic-friendly stretches, kayak and tube put-ins. You can easily spend most of the day here.
It does get insanely busy the later you go, especially on Summer weekends. But go in the mornings. Go on a weekday. Go in the Fall. Take a lot of pictures. You will fall in love with the park."
