What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Evergreen Cemeteries for their peaceful, park-like atmosphere and well-maintained grounds, making them pleasant places for reflection. However, some reviews highlight significant issues with administrative staff attitudes and a lack of accountability in certain locations, which can detract from the overall experience.
"I absolutely love it out here It is so peaceful and beautiful. I enjoy visiting as often as I can. The grounds are kept in a very nice condition usually always."

"Throughout all my visits to Evergreen over the years, I've always found it to be adequate in providing a final resting place for those who've passed. The area seems to be maintained with regularity, and there is little litter among the grounds.
Over the course of Evergreen's time open, it's expanded considerably. Two major sections are present, being much more historic gravesites at one entrance and those from the approximately the 20th century onward at another. Access to and from both are possible, but the entrances offer visitors a more direct path."

"If you are a person of color, don't even bother doing business with this place. According to them, "the funeral home" placed my brother facing the wrong direction at the cemetery. Again, this is at their location, and they had staff present when my brother was buried. The staff took no responsibility and proceeded to blame the funeral home.
They never apologized or offered a solution until I asked for a solution. They told me I should have no problem communicating with the funeral home as they have someone on staff who speaks Mexican. I never mentioned I was Mexican. She later corrected herself and said Spanish. Mind you, I speak English with no accent. The women in the office have the WORSE attitude problem and take NO responsibility for stuff that happens on their property.
Save yourself the headache of dealing with nonsense."
