What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Bakerview Park is a well-loved community hub praised for its diverse amenities, including a skate park, dog parks, and disc golf course. Visitors appreciate the ample green space, scenic views of Mount Baker, and family-friendly atmosphere. However, some note that restroom facilities can be limited to port-a-potties and suggest tree trimming for better views.
"Nice park. Could use some tree trimming to improve the view of Mount Baker, so it is more true to it's name. Bathrooms need to be repaired, only port a pots available (8/2025) Clean. Nice walking path"

"Unfortunately I was just passing through on my walk to work, but I saw enough to wish I had more time to spend there. I'd definitely want my disc golf gear and/or skateboard to really enjoy this park. Plus, the views of Baker didn't disappoint!"

"I love taking my two Pomeranians to this park. You can enter the park by walking through the parking lot and entering from the gated entrance. I let my dogs run around to relieve themselves, and of course, I make sure to pick up after them. Then, I usually walk them on the sidewalk for some good exercise, which is especially important for small dogs. There is also a small dog park and a larger dog park, but I prefer to just walk my dogs around the main area of the park. It’s a lovely park, situated within a neighborhood, and it’s a great place to enjoy fresh air while walking my dogs.
There’s also a local YMCA nearby that I haven’t visited yet, and there’s a large field next to the dog park. I’m not sure if it’s a soccer field or something else, but it’s a nice spot to let your dog run around for a while or to throw a stick or ball. There are so many different options at this park, which is why I appreciate the variety it offers. It would also be nice to bring a small picnic when the weather gets warmer. Just be careful when walking through the grass because some areas can hold water after it rains, and it doesn't absorb fully. Luckily, I was wearing hiking boots, so my feet stayed dry."
