What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Edgewater Park for its beautiful riverfront location, offering a great boat launch and a unique sandbar to explore. The disc golf course and playground are popular features for recreation. However, some note that the playground could use maintenance, and the park's proximity to a busy road requires careful supervision of children.
"Great place to plunk, boat launch is not too bad, just stay on the outside of turns in the river as the Skagit, like most rivers, has lots of logs and stumps on the inside shallow part of the river turns. Better than river where the current gets so strong it just runs your gear downstream a mile and beats your weights to death!"

"I always forget how nice this park is! Great frisbee golf course, awesome playground, lovely walk!
Negatives, if you’re coming from East side Mount Vernon during rush-hour, I imagine it’s a pain, and the playground has super fine mulch that is itchy, and their monkey bars need to be oiled, as they wobble and squeak."
Imuya Dooley
"Nice, clean playground with wood chips and one broken slide (04/14/2023). The playground is close to the parking lot and across the street from public bathrooms. Some disc golf things and paved paths. We were here midday on Thursday and didn't see anyone else. While there's a fair amount of lawn, it does sit adjacent to a busy street, so maybe not the best if supervising more than one runner children."
