"Beautiful! It's really worth seeing when in the area! The colors and landscape were just gorgeous. It was so calm and quiet there that we even got to see a little mouse come out from under a bush to snack on some grass. Beautiful place to stop, relax, and just enjoy nature for a few minutes. I definitely felt more connected to Mother Earth while there."

"A secret garden? No. But certainly a classic one.
The Azaleas… wow! Breathtaking. This Japanese influenced design and garden was stunning.
It was well taken care of, and should be continuously upheld. They requested donations at the entrance, albeit was a free experience. We donated so that its integrity could be maintained and the garden beauty upheld.
While it is next to the Acadia National Park. We were actually able to enjoy this garden more than we were the park that day. Mid July brought out many enthusiasts of this areas outdoors. Thankfully this garden was there and we were able to have some peace away from how busy it was every where else. Personally I’d have liked to sit and read in this garden and take in the scent of the Azaleas as they linger through the air."

"Pleasant stroll around the Japanese style gardens. Not huge but well maintained. Very peaceful and wasn't crowed even on a Saturday in season. Hats off to the person who perfectly rakes all the ridges into the walking path and sand garden."

Best Times for Photography
Beyond the peak bloom, the garden offers photographic opportunities throughout its open season. Consider visiting in the fall to capture the changing foliage, which adds a different palette of warm colors to the landscape. Even on an overcast day, the garden's design and the lush greenery can create a moody and atmospheric scene. Look for reflections in the pond, the intricate patterns of the raked sand gardens, and the delicate details of individual flowers.
When photographing, remember to be respectful of the environment and other visitors. Avoid stepping on plants or blocking pathways. Experiment with different angles and perspectives to find unique shots. A wide-angle lens is great for capturing the overall landscape, while a macro lens can highlight the intricate details of the flowers.
