What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Anchor Beach Woodmont is highly praised for its peaceful atmosphere, soft waves, and friendly visitors, making it a serene escape. While parking can be a consideration for non-residents, the beach's quiet charm and scenic walkway are significant draws. Some visitors note the presence of seaweed and rocks, but the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive for those seeking tranquility.
"It’s not common that you see a beach so highly rated, but after visiting you’ll understand why this one could achieve such a rare feat. It’s very peaceful, the waves are soft and calming, and most of the people you come across are exceedingly friendly. There were several people walking their dogs, their kids, or simply going on a solo stroll. No one seems to be overly involved in your business, and if they want to speak they’ll actually speak instead of stealing glances. It’s honestly a great place to visit anytime of day, but I’m sure the sunrises and sunsets are truly special here."

"8.9.23 For Milford residents with parking stickers, there's a small, free parking lot near the condos. For non-residents, there was no parking that I could find, so we parked in the plaza with Dunkin, Subway, DQ, Adams, etc. and walk the 7 minutes to the beach. The beach itself is tiny, and today, it was covered with washed-up seaweed and lots of rocks. The beach was lovely and quiet because it didn't have the rifrats you see at big, state beaches. The water was warm and clean. And most importantly, it's next to a walkway, so you can people watch all day."
