Reviews Summary

Visitors rave about the breathtaking scenery, refreshing water, and the magical experience of spotting wild horses. The gentle current makes for a relaxing float, and amenities like restrooms add convenience. While generally positive, some mention the river can be crowded on weekends and caution is advised due to potential hazards.

"An Absolutely Perfect Day on the Water!

Salt River Tubing is a must-do Arizona experience! The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful—the mountains and the intensely blue sky are the perfect backdrop for a day on the river. The water itself is incredibly refreshing and crystal clear, with a nice, gentle current that makes for a relaxing float. We could even see the fish and river grass below our tubes. We were also lucky enough to spot some wild mustangs along the shore and wading right in the water.
There are plenty of spots to pull over for a break, and it's super convenient that they have restrooms available.
A few essential tips for a great trip:
* Footwear: Wear proper river shoes or water-friendly sandals. The riverbed is very rocky and slippery, and good foot protection is a game-changer.
* Gear: Bring plenty of water and a cooler packed with snacks. A length of rope is great for tying your tubes together so you can float as a group. A brilliant hack is to use a toddler-fitted sheet to cover your inner tube—it keeps the black rubber from getting scorching hot in the sun!
* Protection: Don't forget ample sunblock and a hat!
And for the brave ones in your group, don't miss the chance to jump off the rocks—it's a blast! A truly incredible day on the river, we can't wait to go back."

"I’ve only been here twice, but both times have been so fun and completely different from one another!
The first time I went with my friend and my sister for my birthday on a Saturday and it had tons of people and a very busy atmosphere.
The second time I went with a friend paddle boarding on a weekday and there was barely anyone on the river and it was so beautiful and peaceful!
Loved seeing the animals all around."

"WOW! This is a cool experience. First, the lecture- I don't care what color you are- WEAR SUNSCREEN.

The drive to the starting point alone is worth noting. If I could do one thing over, I would've stopped on the way there and let it sink in longer. The absolute natural beauty.
Now you found it! Not that cabin, keep going... Here!

It's cool if you are a beginner and afraid or you totally do this in your sleep man.

The water feels amazing, it is beautiful the entire time, you go at your own pace, and someone picks you up at the end.

Have some fun! Good instruction. Beautiful, breathtaking scenery.

That's my two cents, go get your own."
