Some minor drawbacks include potentially uncomfortable chairs for long durations and a desire for more activities in the children's section.
"I treated myself to a thorough browse of the books for sale at the Friends of the Library Store. And $10 later, I have a nice stack of Christmas books and CDs. What a rich experience. And make sure to read the funny jokes on the wall behind the volunteers desk!"

"I had never been in this library before although it’s friendly clean and organized. I went in to print some items for work and the two gentlemen in the help desk at the computer center were so kind and genuine to assist. They’re awesome and made my day!"

"Big, big fan of this place. Great place that actually cares about the community, and perfect for studying. I love the little bookstore located in the lobby, their books are inexpensive with a wide variety, and friendly staff. The library frequently holds events addressing needs in the RGV and presentations that are free to the public. They also allow you to take a covered drink (like a coffee, yum!), enabling you to stay for hours at a time if you need to. The furniture is comfortable as well. The only complaints I have is the restricted amount of time you can rent out a study room, and how people can be loud at times without respect of others. Otherwise, wonderful place with great staff!"
