"What a delightful place. A short drive up a gravel driveway (careful bikers), you will park and walk up to an imposing White House. We were greeted by a wonderful lady who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Barrier Islands and started a 20 minute video talking about life on the islands before they were evacuated. The building contains beautiful photo’s, maps and artifacts from the islands. AND you have to go into the attic to see the crooked chimney."
Andy Blackburn
"We were there the day of the Arts & Music Fair. We had a wonderful day which included good wine from Chatham Vineyards, good food, music and great vendors. We walked through the museum which was an unexpected enjoyable experience. So much history that we never knew. I definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area or passing thru."
