"I was definitely surprised when I came down the steps and got a good glimpse of the bridge. Cool hiking spot and wish I had a fishing pole at the time but saw a bunch of people fishing. We stopped in and got some cool pictures along with a little bit of a hike across the bridge. If you're in this area, check it out"

"Yadkin River Park is one of my favorite local spots. The dog park is especially great — there are separate areas for small dogs and big dogs, so it feels safe and comfortable no matter the size of your pup. My dog loves running around and meeting new friends there.
The playground is another highlight, really well set up for kids of different ages and always buzzing with energy. On top of that, the trails are fantastic for walking or just enjoying a peaceful afternoon outdoors. You get a mix of open space, river views, and shaded paths, which makes it a perfect spot for both short walks and longer hikes.
All in all, it’s a place where you can relax, get some exercise, and enjoy time with both people and pets."

"Great place to take the kids and fish. The changes they have made here in the past few years are nice compared to what it used to be and it looks like more is to come. I have been coming here since my father brought me as a kid and now I bring my own children and hope they do the same. Walking across the foot bridge is neat considering the height of it. It's pet friendly as well. It's a fun little spot to bring the family to fish, boat, get a little exercise and see trains. Highly recommend."
