"Beautiful place to visit! There is a hiking trail but you need to have close toe shoes b/c vocanic rocks path. Can get to the next beach. The path has no cover so bring plentybof water & sunscreen so you don't get burned."

"Beautiful place to spend a few hours exploring the coast of Maui. The drive there is an debenture in itself. We were glad we had a Jeep. The road is rough! You can hike for hours or just visit the bay. The sign says spinner dolphins are active in the mornings. We were there about 11 and didn’t see any. We saw turtles. Great spot for pictures. The black lava rock against the white coral and sand beaches is amazing. And the water sprays from the waves through the lava tubes is mesmerizing!! Bring water and sunscreen. There are shaded parts of the hike (especially in the wooded areas with the goats), but much of it is open in the sun! Wear tennis shoes, the lava rock is rough and sharp. It was a great day trip! Only 20 minutes from Wailea village. You will loose all cel service but once you’re on the road, you can’t miss the destination. Parking was easy and not full."
