"Our family really enjoyed this museum. It was surprising how well done it was. We’ve driven under it several times and wished we had stopped sooner. They did a great job bringing history alive. The way that you could listen to whichever items you picked as you walked through self guided was brilliant. Even our young kids could work the individual speakers and enjoyed listening to the stories they told. We look forward to stopping on our next road trip."

"Great for Kids! We brought our seven year old children to this historic museum. They loved the audio tour and could go fast or slow. They enjoyed the second level looking over the freeway telling them if someone was speeding and how fast. Great place for a quick place to stop go to the bathroom go through the museum and get back on the road. It was bigger than we thought. It would be definitely worth the $15 per person."

"I have driven past here multiple times (not the 1,000 that their t-shirts state), and finally had the time to stop in and check it out. I was not expecting it to be very much, but I was very pleasantly surprised! There is an entire museum in the archway detailing the westward expansion. Each person is given a speaker to listen to at their own pace. I found it to be very informative as well as a nice break in the long drive from Iowa to Colorado. I would absolutely recommend stopping here if you haven't already!"
