This video was filmed at Josie Bassett Morris Ranch. She settled there in 1914 and lived independently for 50 years. She died at age 90 in 1964 after falling when a horse bumped her. The land became part of Dinosaur National Monument. Her cabin still stands and the land is freaking beautiful. • #josiebassettmorris #splitmountain #dinosuarnationalmonument #rvlife #rvliving #fulltimervlife #full...

"At the end of the road - 10 miles from visitor center. Restored cabin from a woman who lived in this remote area from around 1915 through age 90 in 1964. Can go inside. There are 2 short canyon hikes nearby. The shorter one is about 0.6 miles round trip - Box Canyon. Hog Canyon is over twice the length. Can picnic here."
