"My wife and I have been going to Mariners Church in Irvine since 2021, and we really love it here. We tried a few other churches before, but this one just felt like home. Even though it’s a big church, it still feels personal. People are friendly, the volunteers are kind, and we always feel welcomed.
I really appreciate Pastor Eric. He’s solid in the Word and lives what he teaches. His preaching is clear, biblical, and real (kind of like John MacArthur’s depth but with more warmth and humor). Every message points back to Jesus and challenges us to grow in our faith.
The church has all kinds of ways to connect. Bible studies, theology classes, men’s gatherings, the Rooted program, marriage nights. We’ve made some great friends here and found our little community inside the bigger church.
Our two-year-old loves coming here too. The kids’ program is awesome, and it’s such a gift knowing she’s learning about Jesus from an early age.
Most of all, I can honestly say I’ve felt God’s presence here. The preaching has shaped my walk with Christ, and I’ve seen real fruit in my life because of it. No church is perfect, but Mariners has been faithful to God’s Word, and that’s what matters most to me.
If you’re looking for a church or maybe just curious about God, come visit. You’ll be welcomed, encouraged, and reminded how real Jesus is."

The church spreads across a park-like campus. A little disorienting at first for newcomers. Still, the staff and volunteers gave warm welcomes.
Returned for worship. Fantastic experience. Appreciated the message, in particular, and how Pastor Eric explained Romans 28:8 in a way never shared before and connected it to the series being taught on Genesis. Brilliant!
