"We decided to Celebrate my daughter's birthday at the Oheka restaurant. First my family toured the historical rooms and outside ground. We proceeded to the restaurant and Gary Melius greeted us with a cheerful hello and stated, " welcome to my house." He asked where we were from and said a couple of jokes. Gary has such a genuine nature.The waitress was pleasant and attentive to our needs and provided a tasty dessert while everyone sang Happy Birthday. Gary returned and shared cake wth us. I will differently come back and enjoy the warm hospitality provided. Gary thank you for making us feel so welcomed in the Oheka Castle ."

"My husband and I stayed at the Oheka Castle in June 2025. It was such a wonderful experience. We enjoyed everything about it. We loved about the history of the castle and the people who started it. You can walk through the halls and look at the pictures of the place before it was taken over and restored.
We enjoyed beverages at the hotel bar area. The first night we just enjoyed bites and they were very delicious. The second night we had dinner in their restaurant. The experience was outstanding! The service was very good and the food was fantastic!
I highly recommend staying here if you have a chance. It's quite a bit off the beaten path, but that's a positive feature as far as I'm concerned. Be sure to tour the garden area also. It is beautiful!"
