Reviews Summary
Casa de Fruta is a beloved roadside attraction offering a wide array of amenities, from a popular restaurant and fruit stand to lodging and family-friendly activities. Visitors frequently praise the generous food portions, the charming peahens, and the convenience for travelers. However, some find certain convenience items to be overpriced.
"After Renaissance Faire this is the perfect place to stop for dinner. The prime rib was perfect. Only about a 20 minute wait on a busy weekend night! Our waitress was superb, I think her name was Amy? She gave the best service! Love this plaza! Has a candy store, great general store, and a carousel and park area for kids!"
Casey Buck
"We dined inside, place was packed but it only took a 5 minute wait for a 2 person table. They don't allow your doggo inside where service is, but you can sit outside and get your food to go. Big picture windows, always clean giving much light and views to rolling hills. Food is always delicious. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with potato salad and extra pickles. Not a fan of horseradish sauce, but easily ordered w/out it."
Corissa Heiss
"My absolute favorite secret truck stop. I only get to come here once a year. I will go way out of my way to spend a night or two in the truck here. What I love most about it is the friendly Pea Hens walking around all the visitors."
