"Somewhat hidden park. We found this because other parks closer to the city of Golden were jam packed. I think this park is a great place for hiking and biking. We hiked around 3 miles and the path is very easy. It’s mostly service road type with a few single trails. We encountered some people throughout but overall not crowded once you are on the trails. Parking was on the full side but with the size of the park you don’t notice it once you’re outside of the vehicle. Views are amazing. You can see in all directions."

"Really starting to love this place. My typically rule for hiking is to start from the bottom and work your away up because then when you get close to your limit it's all down hill from there. But here you have a really nice drive through the mountains and start out on top and work your way down then back up again. None the less, it's beautiful. You get pretty expansive views of Denver and Boulder. Larger loops that can take about and hour+ to loop around but still fun and beautiful."
