"Beautiful drive to and from. Parking is minimal and the site is surrounded by a tall fence with barbed wire. Multiple cameras to stop vandals and trespassers that are definitely monitored. I recommend bringing binoculars so you can look at the headstones and details high up on the tower. Take your time and enjoy the history. And yes, you may experience something out of the ordinary ;)
*There were a lot of log trucks passing by the day I was there. Be mindful of where you are parking and standing."

"Wow such a neat ruin. Sadly the owner has it locked down, cameras & threatening signs. Would be great if you could actually go inside the fence. Oh well"

"Beautiful place. Took some pictures. My boyfriend got some drone footage.
A bit of an Erie feel.. A little creepy. One of the car doors shut by itself and we left with a feeling of heaviness and a slight headache."

Exploring the History and Legends
Adding to the mystique is the presence of Alice Flagg's grave. Alice Flagg is a figure central to many local ghost stories, and her burial at this site further enhances the ruins' spectral allure. The church was declared a National Historic Site in 1976, a designation that unfortunately hasn't prevented vandalism, leading to the current security measures.

The beautiful masonry and imposing structure invite contemplation, and with binoculars, visitors can appreciate the finer details of the tower and headstones from a respectful distance.
Photography and Observation Tips
Black and white photography can enhance the atmospheric and slightly eerie feel of the ruins, capturing the textures of the old stone and the shadows. Some visitors have also successfully used drones to capture aerial views of the site, though it's crucial to check and adhere to all local drone regulations before flying.
Be prepared for the environment: the area can experience significant traffic from log trucks, so be mindful of your parking and standing locations. The overall experience is one of quiet observation and historical appreciation, with a touch of the supernatural for those open to it.
