Goodwater loop around lake georgetown is a nice overnighter at a reasonable pace. Folks do it at one night but I recommend starting at Russell Park and staying the night at sawyer campground.

It's a pet-friendly, family-accessible hike with generally well-maintained paths. "Trail is a bit hard to follow at parts. Looks like it’s been cut off by erosion and people wanting a shortcut instead of a switchback which is typical of any hiking trail unfortunately. Overall, a pretty day hike. Not too particularly hard. Bring water if you plan to be out 1+ hrs in the spring and summertime. Water is awesome. Check for E Coli when you go. Have fun!"

"It’s a nice hiking trail(s)! We got to park outside of the park and because of that I was free of charge to go through the gate by “walk” but if you go through the gate with your car you’ll have to pay for $5. But I think it’s still a great place for the park visit! We did the short walk in the hiking trail and got to see lake view from the hilltop. Due to our limited time, we couldn’t spend much time but will definitely come back there!
We definitely enjoyed nature there!
Cheers 🥂"

"Trail was well maintained. Easy to moderate terrain. I saw people of all ages walking. Just need to watch your steps. To get to Crockett Garden Falls it's about 6-7 mile hike round trip. It's a good long hike but totally worth it at the end when you see the waterfall. I'd highly recommend hiking in the early morning hours due to the summer heat."
