Reviews Summary

Visitors praise East Bay parks for their stunning natural beauty, diverse landscapes, and family-friendly amenities. The well-maintained trails and abundant green spaces make them ideal for hiking and recreation. However, some reviews mention occasional issues with litter and maintenance in specific areas, as well as concerns about dog park management. Reddit+1

"Whenever I visit Georgetown I try to get a round in at this 9 hole disc golf course. It's a multi-use park with a paved walking path going around and through the course so you do have to watch out for people, and there are many people some days. I think most people we've seen enjoying the shade from the live oaks don't even realize they're on the course, so there's that as well.
There's a nice playground, picnic shelter, porta potty, tennis courts (pickleball mostly these days) and a pavilion area I've not checked out yet because it's always been occupied. There's a nice restroom at the boat landing parking area. Last time we went the ladies room was locked but the men's was open. Great place to watch the fishing boats come and go. Check out Morgan Park while you're there. Beautiful view of the water."

"My one of my granddaughters favorite play locations due to sand near the swings and equipment. I like the park for almost daily walks for exercise for some specific reasons. With numerous knee surgeries, foot, and arthritis…the route spaced out benches for those who might require breaks or working on building up endurance. The restroom facilities are ALWAYS neat and clean.

The park is undergoing changes as an old building was torn down, being replaced with a modern open structure; which looks close to completion. The scattered pine combs and pine needles, along with some downed branches and litter visitors are leaving take away from the natural beauty surrounding it and the boat launch area. I still enjoy walking the trails here as people utilize the dog parks and play tennis or pickleball."

"Good location. The dog park entrance gates were 6 inches deep in water, would be nice if the city crew could fill in the low spots"
