Visitors praise the Midland Greenway as an excellent park for walking, running, and family fun, highlighting the playground and the unique Engine 209 Park. It's also a popular venue for community events and a great spot for dog owners. Some reviewers noted a need for more shade and minor repairs to playground equipment.
"The kids had a great time playing at the playground at this park. There were plenty of things for them to do. The playground accommodates children of all ages with different sized slides and a variety of activities. My only critique is that a few items in the sensory area are in need of repair."

"Went to Midland Greenway for the inaugural Equality Fest event. It was a really lovely venue, and a fantastic place for a family friendly celebration of diversity and drag!
I also want to compliment Gainesville City ordinances for providing a safe and legal way to shut down a handful of bigoted men who just wanted to yell at happy families.
My one note is that the park would benefit from a few more shade zones, and maybe even a dedicated cooling area - she was a hot one, mama!"

"Great venue, will go back early tomorrow. I went at dark to listen to the band Fly Betty and they had the crowd having great time. Thank you"
