"A four-lane fixed span bridge that is "midpoint" between the Cape Coral Bridge to the south and the Caloosahatchee Bridge to the north. The bridge carries County Road 884 between Fort Myers and Cape Coral. It certainly makes for a straighter shot from the airport to my brother's place in west Cape Coral than the other two bridges.
There is normally a $2 toll for westbound (free eastbound) for cars, it's not a terrible price to pay for not having to detour. However, it's been suspended since the Hurricane.
